SKATOSIS is a weekly podcast with Drew Domkus and Aaron Monte. Drew grew up skateboarding in southern California in the 70’s and Aaron grew up in Wisconsin and started skating in the early 2000’s. Their 20 year age gap is obvious at times but also creates a unique dynamic as they cover the local scene and current skateboarding content.
We’re back in the studio this week (FaceBook Live show available) and fall in love with skateboarding just a little bit more… Topics include: Jimmy Wilkins and his ballerina style; Aaron’s barrel jump hill bomb; hippie jumps; KOTR watch party; Burbank skateparks; Carter Oeflein on Business and Company; vlogging; 9 Club Experience; Addidas; Zion ollies The Wedge with a bungee; Bowl Rippers; Pedro’s nosepick?; Malmo; and so much more…
We’re recording from the Oshkosh skatepark between sessions and we’re talking about the Skatosis contest last weekend, Congrats Hunter! Also, The Warble, KOTR, BATB, ETN and probably a few other acronyms.
We’re sitting on the shore of Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, after getting rained out at the local park. We’re talking about the Santa Cruz video Til the End, King of the Road, Nyjah Huston, crooked grinds in Iowa, and so much more!
